Former RNC Chairman Unloads on Trump: Wake Your A*s Up
Former Chairman of the Republican National Committee (RNC), Michael Steele is fed up with the mess coming out of President Donald Trump, Trump Jr. and the White House.
This morning during an appearance on MSNBC, Steele not only called Trump incompetent, he said it was time for the president to wake up.
“Their feet is in cement,” he said about the Trumps adding that “it is time to wake your a*s up.”
He lamented that Republican Party leaders are reluctant to criticize the Trump administration adding that in the interest of the country, it is time for that to change.
“They need to wake the fu*k or there will be no party,” Michael Steele said about the Republican Party.
Steele said that if President Trump continues along the path he is on, he will soon find that he won’t accomplish anything.
“We do not have an infrastructure bill. The health care bill is a joke and the agenda is going nowhere,” he said.
The former RNC boss said the recent problems besieging Donald Trump Jr. do not appear to surprise President Trump adding that the “drip, drip, drip” nature of information making it to the media is their fault.
“They need to just come out and tell the truth. They need to lay everything out on the table for the American people,” he said.
Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner and others close to President Trump are currently embroiled in a controversy following a 2016 meeting with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya. She is said to have connection to the Kremlin and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Initially, Trump Jr. said the meeting was about Russian adoption.
It was later disclosed, and confirmed, that the meeting was arranged to allow Russian government operatives to give the Trump campaign damaging information about Hillary Clinton that would help them win the 2016 presidential election.
Trump Jr. later released a string of email messages that confirmed the real purpose of the meeting which was about getting damaging information about Hillary Clinton from the Russians.
Earlier this morning, it was further disclosed that besides Trump Jr., presidential adviser Jared Kushner, Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort and Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, there were two more individuals in the meeting.
Russian-American lobbyist Rinat Akhmetshin later confirmed that he attended the 2016 meeting.
